I'm Alex Antoniou — a physician, father, and recovering overachiever. I went from 220 lb and 80-hour weeks to 150 lb, part-time medicine, and multiple companies — not because I optimized harder, but because I started closing each day and learning from my life.

No. HealthBrew is an educational self-reflection tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, and it does not replace medical care.

Do I need labs to use HealthBrew?+

No. HealthBrew works as a daily reflection journal first. Labs are optional context for users who already track them.

Do I still need a doctor?+

Yes — if you are sick, symptomatic, taking medications, or have abnormal labs. HealthBrew is a journal, not a clinician.

Is this religious?+

No. HealthBrew includes optional prompts around gratitude, grace, purpose, forgiveness, and connection because inner life matters. Use them spiritually, philosophically, or simply as reflection.

How is this different from a mood tracker?+

Mood trackers log how you feel. HealthBrew connects feelings with the ingredients of health — sleep, movement, food, sunlight, connection, stress, symptoms, goals, labs, and life events.

How is this different from Function Health?+

Function Health and similar services center on lab testing. HealthBrew centers on daily life. Labs can be uploaded, but they are not required. We help you track the lived ingredients that shape how you feel and function. And we will never be venture-funded to extract value — 10% of every dollar we earn goes to neighbors who can't pay yet.

Why 10% to giving? Isn't that bad for the business?+

A health tracker is easy to copy. A venture-funded health tracker will never give a tenth of its revenue away because their investors won't allow it. We chose differently from day one. The 10% is not marketing — it's the thing the company is for, and it's what makes HealthBrew copy-proof.
