Two ways to run it
- Check in after every runHabit circle
Each person logs their run time with the stopwatch. Rest days are fine: nobody is knocked out for a missed day.
- Add up kilometers togetherGoal circle
Set a target for each person, like 25 km in 30 days. Everyone types in their kilometers, and the circle total climbs past each marker as the group adds up.
Set it up in two minutes
- Open HealthBrew and start a circle. Give it a name your group will recognize, like "Couch to 5K, December".
- Choose 90 days. Most Couch-to-5K plans take about 9 weeks, and the extra weeks leave room for repeats.
- Pick one check-in: the stopwatch for run times, or a number in kilometers. A circle uses one or the other, not both.
- Send the link to your running group. Up to 25 people, you included.
HealthBrew is the group, not the plan
HealthBrew does not coach your runs, track GPS, or read your watch. Use whatever Couch-to-5K plan you like for the workouts. The circle is where the group shows up after each one, so nobody quietly drops out in week 3.
Want it to stick past the last day? It helps to track it next to the rest of your day. See the daily habits worth tracking after 40.

Common questions
Does HealthBrew give me a Couch-to-5K plan?
No. Use any plan you like. HealthBrew is where your group logs each run and cheers each other on.
Does it track my distance with GPS?
No. HealthBrew does not use GPS or read your watch. Each person logs their run time, or types in their kilometers.
Can we train for a real 5K together?
Yes. Sign up for a local 5K as a group, start a 90-day circle around 3 months before it, and check in on every training run until race day.
Is it free for my friends?
Yes. Joining and checking in are free. Only the person who starts the circle needs a membership.
How many people can join?
Up to 25 people, including you.
What if someone misses a day?
Nothing happens. There is no penalty and no ranking. They check in again tomorrow.
